We Were Here
Ann Marie Elliott’s project entitled “We Were Here,” used story building techniques to develop original narratives, or “false histories,” about an abandoned house on the Near Eastside. Working with neighborhood children, Elliot encouraged creative and abstract thought as a way to contribute original stories about the neighborhood. Elliot’s display of some of the writing and pre-production work for a forthcoming play entitled “The Monster Cosmos,” reflect the imagination of our neighborhood.
